Inspired by W New York – Union Square and created in collaboration with Rockwell Group, W Hotels Living channels the iconic hotel’s bold, urban design aesthetic and colorful palette into the home through a curated expression of statement furniture and décor. Each piece carries the architectural language and cultural energy of Union Square, translating the layered dynamism of downtown Manhattan into a residential experience that is at once expressive, refined, and unmistakably modern.

At Union Square, the city reveals itself in constant motion—art, architecture, and street life colliding in a dynamic, ever-evolving composition. The spirit of W Hotels Living is drawn from the geometry of Manhattan’s grid, the glow of Manhattanhenge, and the rhythm of the Metronome. The result is a collection that feels anchored in New York, capturing a sense of place that is both iconic and thrilling.
Rockwell Group Collaboration
In a continuation of their design direction for the hotel, Rockwell Group collaborated with us on the custom bedroom pieces refined for home interiors. With the firm’s intimate knowledge of the hotel’s distinctive design elements and guestroom experience, we set out to design a collection infused with the spirit of the hotel, but intended for everyday living.
Each exclusive piece reflects a deliberate translation. The Upholstered Bed is daringly tall, but not built into the wall for simpler installation. The Nightstand reflects the hotel version’s Metronome-like façade, but gained a drawer for daily convenience. The Floral Rug resembles the bold floral prints throughout the hotel, but with the design scaled for different sizes of spaces. The Linear Sconce reflects the Manhattanhenge motif repeated in the elevators and hallway lights.
Each piece was thoughtfully designed to honor the hotel’s design language, while adapting seamlessly to modern living.
